After firing head coach Ron Rivera on Monday, the Josh Harris-led Washington Commanders had plans already in place to kickstart their hunt to replace him and bring in a new head of football operations to set up the show: Harris announced an internal search committee with a few fellow owners and the hiring of former NBA executive Bob Myers and former NFL GM Rick Spielman.

ESPN NFL Analyst and former NFL general manager and director of pro personnel Mike Tannenbaum joined The Hoffman Show to help Craig figure out what the process is like from the inside on these searches and to determine "what's next?" for Harris and the franchise.

They also discussed what kind of roles and advice people like Myers and Spielman can offer in terms of restructuring the franchise's organizational leadership and contributing to the search group.

Listen to all of that – plus a conversation about just how attractive the Washington head of football ops and head coaching role is for those who the Commanders have requested interviews with – on the audio player above!
