Last week, the Washington Redskins legend Joe Jacoby was named as one of the 12 finalists candidates by the Seniors Committee for enshrinement in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton.
Jacoby, who won three Super Bowls and was named to four Pro Bowl teams, and was a First-team All-Pro three times with the Redskins, joined Doc Walker and Lynnell Willingham (in for Kevin Sheehan) to talk about the Hall of Fame and give his best training camp stories. The Seniors Committee will meet on Aug. 22 and can select up to three people from the list of 12 finalists for final consideration as members of the Hall of Fame Class of 2024.
The other finalists are quarterback Ken Anderson, linebacker Maxie Baughan, running back Roger Craig, linebacker Randy Gradishar, defensive back Albert Lewis, defensive tackle Steve McMichael, cornerback Eddie Meador, wide receiver Art Powell, wide receiver Sterling Sharpe, wide receiver Otis Taylor, and tackle/defensive tackle Al Wistert.
