The Washington Football Team will be without cornerback Torry McTyer, and likely linebacker Jon Bostic as well, for the rest of the 2021 season.
"Unfortunately we're gonna lose Torry for the year," Washington head coach Ron Rivera told reporters on Monday. "And Jon Bostic with the pec, we're gonna probably lose for the year as well."
Rivera did not clarify which injury McTyer suffered but ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the corner tore his ACL in Sunday's 34-30 victory over Atlanta. McTyer had to be carted off the field after the final play of the game.
Bostic suffered a pectoral injury and was set to undergo an MRI on Monday. Earlier Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that Washington feared Bostic's injury was "a serious one."
