Washington's new CB, William Jackson III, owns an adorable pet pig named Annabel

The Washington Football Team landed one of the top cornerbacks in free agency on Tuesday, agreeing to terms with William Jackson III on a three-year, $42 million deal.

While Jackson figures to be a star in Washington, he's likely to be outshined by someone in his own home.

Prior to training camp in 2018, Jackson, who is fond of horses and has previously owned dogs, acquired a pet of a different breed — a pig, named Annabel.

"She's potty-trained. She's a dog," Jackson said via The Athletic. "We go on walks quite a bit when I'm at home (in Houston)."

"I thought it would be dope to own a pig," he said.

Jackson struggled initially with whether he should bring his pig to camp, making the tough decision to leave her behind in his native Houston.

"I miss my pig," Jackson said at the time. "She should be here with me."

"People actually love the pig more than you would think," he told the Cincinnati Enquirer. "They think it's a dope animal to have. A lot of people volunteered to go get her, actually. That's always a good thing."

Jackson has had to shield a part of himself from Annabel, though.

"She ain't bacon to me," he said through laughter, via The Athletic. "I still eat bacon, though. She doesn't know."

Their bond has stood the test of time, with Jackson telling ESPN in July 2019 his piglet friend brings joy to his life.

"She's a great person," he said. "She's family, so we don't call her a pig. She's family."

Jackson doesn't allow Annabel to sleep in his bed, but she does have her own little piggy bed right next to his.

"She has her own space," he said.

They grow up so fast!
