I'll be honest, this was a first for me.
On Friday, Nick and I talked to Leslie Hale, who is an astrologist from Keen.com. It was a fascinating conversation because in these uncertain times people are turning to the spiritual world like never before. The industry is booming, with a 140% increase since the pandemic began. It's easy to see why.
I know that I've had so many questions that the people on T.V. can never seem to answer. When is this all going to be over? Am I going to be okay? Will my finances recover? How will I meet the love of my life if I cannot leave the house?
Lucky for me, I got to ask all my questions!
I talked to Leslie for a full thirty-minutes and it was an experience I will never forget.
Since she is an astrologer, she needed to know my birthday, place of birth, and the time of my birth. After she got all my information, she pulled up my astrological charts and the reading began.
Here are a few highlights:
-She accurately described my personality, which is a creative-type that is fueled by her job. That's 100% me.
-She asked what female came into my life in the winter of 2018. That's when my daughter, Lilly was born.
-In the early spring of 2018, she said I suffered a tragedy. That's when I lost my first pregnancy.
-She wanted to know what big thing happened in 2008 at work. I told her that's where I met my husband who is currently my co-host today. She also told me that we were destined to be together in our personal and professional life.
-During the interview, she mentioned several times if I was planning to have more kids. This completely threw me a curveball because Nick and I do not want more children, but I have been going through a little mourning period because Lilly is growing so fast and I really miss those infant years. Leslie told me it's a strong option for me! Eek!
-I asked about my writing career. I've been writing novels for the last decade and finally decided to start doing something about it. Leslie told me that something big would happen with it at the end of the year, early part of next year. She also told me that I should start looking at writing children's books, which I have been thinking a lot about lately.
In the end, it was a fascinating experience. Leslie made me feel really comfortable and she spoke to me in a way that put me at ease. It wasn't cheesy or over the top, and for someone who had not done anything like that before, it was really fun.
