Brantley Gilbert delivers the scoop on his oldest, newest, and most painful tattoos

We celebrated National Tattoo Day over the weekend, and Brantley Gilbert is clearly covered in ink. So what's his oldest tattoo?

“This one on the very top of my back, right under my neck in the back, it’s the crown of thorns," he explains in a statement from his label. "It used to spell sacrifice. Now… I got it was 18, and I’m 35. So, you can imagine.

"What’s my latest? I got both of the kids names here," he continues, pointing to both sides of his stomach. "My goal is to have the top half done by the time I’m 40 so it could all age together.

"The most painful, was I have two clocks on… Well, a clock a boob, I guess you could say. And let’s just say, he didn’t skip any spots. That was probably my hardest one.”
