There’s no doubt music is at the core of most things for singer-songwriter, ERNEST, and it’s lookin’ pretty likely he passed that love for music onto his son.

ERNEST and his wife, Delaney, welcomed their first born, Ryman Saint, in April 2021 and now, at the young age of two, ERNEST says he’s already recognizing songs and lyrics.

“I have a 2-year-old… He’ll hear the intro to [my song] ‘Unhang The Moon,’ and he’ll go, ‘Moon!’ He knows what songs are for sure,” ERNEST told Rob + Holly.

While it may be a few more years until little Ryman can contribute in the songwriting room, ERNEST continues to set the bar high with new music. Most recently, he showcased his songwriting and vocal chops with the release of Flower Shops (The Album): Two Dozen Roses.

The project is an extension of his 2022 album, Flower Shops (The Album), and features 13 new songs in addition to the original album’s 11.

“[With] 13 more songs I think I dug a little deeper,” ERNEST said of the project. “I think it’s better, I think these 13 songs are a step up from the first 11, which are great good songs. I’m excited.”

ERNEST’s Flower Shops (The Album): Two Dozen Roses is available now.

Tune into his conversation with Rob + Holly above to hear more about his life as a Dad, songwriting stories, and his newest album.
