This week on Spotlight On Maryland Gina Crash spoke with Tiffany Page, Sr. Program Director for Special Initiatives with the Greater Baltimore Urban League, (GBUL), about their Project Stripe initiative, (Squeegee Training, Recovery, Individualized Planning & Entrepreneurship).

GBUL and their partners like the Department of Human Services in Baltimore, provides a unique opportunity and environment to Baltimore's underserved youth through experiences that nurture and build on young people's strengths and interests. Project Stripe provides access to a network of outside resources to support participants including substance abuse counseling, housing assistance, childcare resources and professional therapeutic counseling, via mobile app. Project Stripe is open for registration and referral and serves men & women ages 12-26. Tiffany also recapped the Greater Baltimore Urban League's successful Center Court Baltimore that was held during CIAA Tournament weekend February 23-25, 2023. GBUL hosted the entire weekend along with partners like Black Girls Vote and Stand Up Baltimore.
