This week on Spotlight On Maryland, Gina Crash was joined in studio by Beth Rheingold, President & CEO of the Greater Baltimore Chamber of Commerce, (GBCC), and Anna Vekker, GBCC Chamber Member and presenting sponsor of their largest fundraiser of the year, the Heads & Tails 5K & Doggie Dash Sunday, October 19th at Garrison Forest School in Owings Mills.
Serving more than 300 businesses, non-profits and schools for all of Baltimore County, the Greater Baltimore Chamber of Commerce promotes business, enhances economic well-being and fosters community development. Event proceeds from GBCC's Heads & Tails 5K & Doggie Dash support the Greater Baltimore Chamber of Commerce, which works in partnership with local business, government, and community stakeholders to create a Greater Baltimore that is a great place to live, work and shop. Donors can also raise funds via the event's webpage, headsandtails5k.com, for Reed's Rescue, a Northern Baltimore County non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs of senior age or deemed terminally ill from area shelters and dogs given up by their owners because of difficult circumstances.
