MCVET is the Maryland Center for Veterans Education and Training, a non-profit organization established in Baltimore in 1993. It's the nation's premiere program for helping homeless veterans and veterans in need heal and achieve independence, self-sufficiency and permanent housing. Proceeds from the Veterans Day 1 Mile/5K/10K Virtual Run & Walk will help MCVET continue to provide Housing, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Counseling, Education & Employment Services, Case Management and other comprehensive services to help veterans rejoin their communities as productive citizens.
