An alleged cop killer from Georgia has been found dead in the Upstate. As we previously reported, authorities in Georgia were searching for Jimmie Steverson. He's the suspect who was accused of killing Police Sergeant Chris Fisher in a drive-by shooting, last night. That shooting happened in the small West Georgia town of Warm Springs.
The Anderson County Sheriff's Office now says that Deputies found Steverson dead after locating his vehicle just south of Exit 27 off of I-85. He was found dead inside the vehicle from what appears to be a self inflicted gunshot wound.
