It'll be a win-win situation for the Panthers and the Planet, this fall. WORD's sister station, 93.3 "The Planet" has scored a new partnership with the Carolina Panthers.
The station will be the new radio home for Panthers football and will broadcast all preseason, regular season and postseason games.
The partnership kicks off on August 6 with the Panthers' Hall of Fame game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Audacy Greenville Operations Manager Mark Hendrix says, this exciting partnership is a natural fit bringing Panthers coverage to a large and passionate audience. In addition to Panther games airing on "The Planet", the station will also carry "Panther Talk with Coach Dave Canales,” every Monday nigh during the season, starting at 7PM.
