The body of an award nominated actress who shockingly died in the Upstate last weekend, has been released to her family. The Greenville County Coroner's Office says they have released the body of 36 year old Hayden Panettiere. She died Sunday at the Judson Mill Lofts in Greenville.
As we previously reported, 1st responders were called there around 2PM and found Panettiere unresponsive. She was pronounced dead about 30 minutes later after life-saving efforts were unsuccessful.
She had traveled to Greenville with her off and on boyfriend actor Brian Hickerson just a day prior to her death. Hickerson and his brother Zach were said to be with Panettiere when she died. The investigation is ongoing and funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
Panettiere started acting as a child, her film credits include "Remember The Titans". She was nominated for two Golden Globe awards for her work on the network TV series "Nashville".
