The Greenville Police Department has officially closed their investigation into the death of award winning actress Hayden Panettiere.
As we previously reported she was found unresponsive in an apartment at the Judson Mill Lofts on Easley Bridge Road before being pronounced dead, back in August.
The Greenville County Coroner's Office says that her death was caused by an overdose of fentanyl and various prescription pills.
Officials have ruled her death as accidental and no charges have been filed. Police say they have officially closed the case.
Hayden Panettiere was just 36 year old.
