The Highway Patrol is investigating after the death of a pedestrian in Greenville County. Troopers responded after a crash on Old Easley Highway, around 5:15AM Wednesday morning.
The victim was taken to Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital where they later died of their injuries. The Highway Patrol says the pedestrian was riding a skateboard on Old Easley Highway when they were hit by an unknown vehicle, that reportedly fled the scene.
The Coroner's Office has not yet released the identity of the victim.
