A wanted Seneca man is now in custody on drug trafficking charges. Sheriff's Office Deputies and State Probation Agents responded to a motel in Seneca to serve a warrant on 42 year old, Michael Stephen Burns. Upon arrival, they encountered Burns and told him he was under arrest.
Burns then reportedly pulled away from deputies and tried running from them. He was apprehended without further incident. Investigators say, Burns was found with nearly two ounces of meth and less than a gram of fentanyl on him.
He's charged with trafficking meth, possession of fentanyl, resisting arrest and a probation violation.
