The shooting of an Upstate teenager has turned tragic after their death. As we previously reported, a teen victim was shot in the head by another teenager, Thursday morning in Walhalla. Now officials have confirmed that the victim has died after being transported to a local hospital.
The Oconee County Sheriff's Office issued a statement earlier today saying the shooting was accidental. Neither of the teenagers involved have been identified, at this time due to their ages.
No further details have been released and no charges have been announced, as of the time of this report.
