The teenager that police say shot two people at Haywood Mall over the weekend is being charged as an adult. The Greenville Police Department says 17 year old, Kamari Stephone Walker is charged with aggravated assault.
The charges came after a man and woman were shot at the mall, Saturday afternoon. The shooting happened after an argument between groups of people.
The woman was said to be a bystander and was not involved in the altercation. The aggravated assault charge allows for Waler to be tried as an adult. However, police say Walker faces additional charges that they can't release publicly due to his age.
This marks the 4th such incident at the Haywood Mall in the last 13 months.
