A suspect wanted in connection to a break-in and assault at an Upstate home, has been arrested hundreds of miles away. The Spartanburg Police Department says 32 year old, Brandon Diquan Hicklin was taken into custody in West Virginia, Tuesday.
He was wanted for his alleged involvement in a 2024 home invasion in Spartanburg. Police say, that Hicklin broke into the house and attacked the two occupants. He reportedly strangled one victim and punched the other in the face multiple times.
Hicklin fled the scene and went to West Virginia to try and avoid arrest. He's now in custody on charges of assault, breaking into a house and a probation violation.
