On Friday Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd called Scotty to talk about their new single "Chasing after you"
Maren Morris leads this class of ACM nominees (with Chris Stapleton), recognizing achievements from 2020, with six nominations!
In the full version of the interview below, Ryan and Maren talk about their favorite things about each other. Ryan said, "Getting to do this specific life with Maren". Maren said, " I like that his approach to almost everything in life is in, almost like a childlike way".
They also play Scotty's game "wrong lyrics only" where they replaced each other's lyrics with the first thing that came to their mind.
Interestingly, Maren and Ryan didn't actually write "Chasing After you," which Ryan notes, "should tell you how much we actually love it."
