CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - One person is dead, five injured after a crash in the city's Ashburn neighborhood.
It happened near 83rd and Columbus about 9:20 a.m. Police said a black Nissan Frontier was making a left turn at the intersection when the driver struck a black Mazda sedan head on.
Two more vehicles then collided with the other cars.
Five people are hospitalized. Three women and two men. One male was pronounced dead at Christ Medical in Oak Lawn.
Police have not issued citations just yet.
