CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Two women were hospitalized after a shooting in a South Shore alley Wednesday night.
Chicago police said a 24-year-old woman was shot while in a car in an alley near 79th and Paxton shortly after 9 p.m.
Police said the gunman ran off and the woman was taken to the hospital in fair condition.
Meanwhile, another woman, a 23-years-old, was hit by a red car that drove off from the alley. She was in good condition with unspecified wounds when she was taken to the hospital.
No one is in custody. Area Two detectives are investigating.
