CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Police and paramedics responded to an incident Monday night in the Medical District on the Near West side in which five people were taken to hospitals.
Police said it was a possible overdose situation.
It was about 9:30 p.m. near 13th and Throop.
Four men and one woman were involved. Police said they were treated at the scene by paramedics.
They were then taken to hospitals for detoxification.
