(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Officials have now announced what led to the death of a 5-day-old girl in south suburban Sauk Village earlier this week.
Kenzie died Thursday at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, the Chicago Tribune reported.
Her cause of death, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office: multiple injuries related to child abuse.
WBBM has reached out for comment from the Sauk Village Police Department.
