CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Bally’s says it has secured financing for its new permanent casino on Goose Island.

According to Bally’s, they’ve come up with $940 million dollars for construction of its casino and hotel complex on the old Tribune printing plant site along Chicago Avenue.

The company has also made public renderings of the complex, including a redesign of the 500-room, 34-story hotel to avoid damaging water pipes along the Chicago River.

The hotel tower will include a rooftop restaurant, a large pool spa and sun deck. There’ll also be a 3,000 seat theater.

The casino will include about 3,300 slot machines, 173 table games and VIP gaming areas.

A demolition contractor has already started prepping to clear the 30-acre site.

Bally’s says the complex should be complete by September 2026.
