NAPERVILLE, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Naperville Firefighters responded to an accident involving an go-kart Wednesday night.
A 10-year-old boy was trapped in a go-kart when he ran into a rubber guard rail and became wedged beneath it at the Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure park track, an indoor facility featuring different activities for children, just off Route 59.
Fire officials told the Naperville Sun that they had to use battery powered spreaders to lift the the guard rail and get the child out of the go-kart.
The boy was transported to Edward Hospital in Naperville, but only as a precaution.
