KANKAKEE COUNTY (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A 25-year-old Bradley man has been charged with the murder of his uncle.
Police Sunday responded to a 911 call at a home on North Clinton Avenue. The caller reported that a person had been shot.
A man identified as Scott McLain, 39-years-old, was found dead.
He had been shot in the chest with a crossbow, according to police.
They took his nephew, 25-year-old Joshua Zilm, into custody. He’s charged with first degree murder.
The two lived together.
Zilm said they had been arguing.
The Daily Journal reported he told police his uncle treated him poorly, and that he was tired of it.
So, he got his crossbow and shot him.
