CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A two-alarm fire broke out Monday afternoon at an industrial building mere steps from a West Garfield Park CTA Green Line station.

A Chicago Fire Department spokesperson said one person has been treated for injuries connected to the fire on Lake Street near Cicero Avenue.

There’s no word yet on what sparked the fire.

Videos posted to the fire department’s Twitter showed Chicago firefighters working to “surround and drown” the warehouse fire.

CBS 2’s Kris Habermehl reported from “Chopper Two” that crews were delayed going into the building because of concerns about the so-called truss roof, which has no center support.

CTA Green Line service is ongoing.

Earlier on Monday, a massive fire broke out at a Chicago Heights furniture store. No injuries were reported in that fire.
