Chicago Police are asking for the public's help to identify the hit and run driver who killed an elderly pedestrian in Little Village last Friday.

Chicago Police are asking for the public's help to identify the hit and run driver who killed an elderly pedestrian in Little Village on Friday, October 24, 2025.

Investigators say it happened around 2:41pm as 72-year-old Maximiliano Lemus Panto was walking in a crosswalk on Komensky Avenue near 26th Street.

Chicago police released two images of the car they believe was involved in the deadly hit and run. Investigators describe it as a white 2011-2014 Hyundai Sonata.

According to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office, the victim lived in the 2600 block of S. Kedvale which is just a couple of blocks away from where he was hit and killed.
