This week's Cocktail of the Week is an Apple Cider Mimosa!

Yep, that's right, we are swapping the orange juice for apple cider.

This fall take on a classic mimosa is super simple to make and the right amount of bubbly to celebrate the holiday that's all about being grateful while feasting on some delicious food!

The Apple Cider Mimosa recipe really only calls for two ingredients, unless you want to dress things up -- just like your turkey! All you need is apple cider and champagne, or any other sparkling white wine. Then, if you want to dress up your glass, you can add a gold sugar rim and a slice of apple for garnish.

So, who's ready to mix things up?

Apple Cider Mimosa Recipe: Serves 2

Ingredients

• 1 cup of apple cider
• 1/2 cup of Champagne (or other sparkling white wine)
• Apple slices for garnish
• Gold sugar for rim (optional)

Directions

Step 1. If you are decorating the rim of your glass with gold sugar, then dip the top of each champagne flute into water, and then dip it into the sugar to coat.
Step 2. Fill each champagne flute half to 3/4 full with apple cider (about 1 cup per glass).
Step 3. Top with champagne (about 1/2 cup)
Step 4. Add an apple slice for garnish
