"Each month, a group of Birch Road members gathers at our Lincoln Park clubhouse for Cocktail Club. We’re all amateur mixology enthusiasts and we learn various techniques together purely through hands-on experimentation. Last meet-up the theme was “Egg Whites", as in the ingredient that makes that beautiful froth atop a cocktail. I wanted to share the technique using a spin on a gin sour so you can try it at home and amaze your friends!" Bosse said in a statement.

As mentioned above, Birch Road is a women-owned, BYOB, members-only neighborhood clubhouse with locations in Roscoe Village, Lincoln Park and Seattle where wine, work, and community intersect. The club has an all-inclusive, come-as-you-are, unpretentious vibe that revolves around the premise that good drinks and good conversation are the best path to community.

From a daytime co-working space and member-only events to date nights, game nights, wine and spirits appreciation nights, and private gatherings, Birch Road members use the clubhouse for various activities. At Birch Road, it’s not uncommon to find yourself enjoying a bottle of wine with strangers by the end of the night.

Membership is $105 a month and includes fingerprint access to the club every day from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m., a private locker in a 57-degree climate-controlled cellar, plus access to a dining room, lounge, and tasting room equipped with glassware, mixers, ice, decanters, and bar tools. Anyone can be a member! Now back to the cocktail! The Birch Road Sour recipe calls for Fords Gin, Koval Cranberry Gin Liqueur, egg white, simple syrup, lemon juice, club soda, and bitters.

It's a beautiful, aromatic and light cocktail that just screams sophistication! Plus, it is super festive with the cranberry liqueur body and frothy egg white top!

So who's ready to mix things up?
