CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Robots are hitting Chicago streets to help with food delivery.

Less traffic and more parking options are some of the issues Coco Robotics says its red and pink delivery boxes on wheels can solve, transporting up to eight extra large pizzas or four grocery bags at a time.

Orders placed via the DoorDash app are delivered by Coco bots in the West Loop, River West and Fulton Market areas.

Local restaurants using their service so far include Veggitopia, Nile Authentic Mediterranean Grill, Superior Philly Cheesesteak and Mrs. Quesadilla.
