CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- The Civilian Office of Police Accountability has released information regarding a Nov. 2 incident during which a Chicago Police officer was shot to death while arguing with his wife, also a police officer.

The 911 call was made by the son of officers Jacqueline Villaseñor and German Villaseñor.

He said he needed an ambulance, because his dad had been shot. An off-duty officer was first to arrive.

Jacqueline Villaseñor told that officer she and her husband had been arguing about an affair and she was threatening to shoot herself.

They struggled with the gun and it went off. German Villaseñor was hit in the chest and later died. His wife was charged with involuntary manslaughter.

Her late husband's family questions her story.
