(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – A pre-planned food tour is offering people a wide-ranging taste of some of Chicago's most iconic dishes, but the price is a little steep to some.

The Chicago Foodie Lovers Tour organized by entertainment platform Fever will whisk participants around Chicago to some famous food joints within a 4-hour window. The culinary fare to be sampled includes a Portillo's hotdog, a small Garrett's popcorn, a 6-inch Al's Italian beef sandwich, a slice of deep dish pizza and a Do-Rite doughnut.

“If you are looking for a little bit of culture, great photos, and a ton of delicious food then this is the tour for you,” the web page for the activity says.

The price? $532, or $532.50, to be exact.

Some Chicagoans think that price is not right.

"I think it's kind of ridiculous. The prices seems really high. I've been to all of these places, and I would never pay that much for a tour of them,” one local tells WBBM Newsradio.

Others suggest the experience should include other types of experiences, such as a Navy Pier boat tour or a slice of Pequod's pizza.

The tour also offers participants a water bottle, an Uber ride, and entry to the Wrigley Building, Tribune Tower and Buckingham Fountain.
