CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A string of armed robberies occurring downtown are being conducted on Divvy Bikes.
Chicago police are warning people in the Loop to be on high alert for a group of armed robbers on Divvy Bikes.
More than a dozen bicycle attacks have been reported over the last several weeks, starting June 19 and the latest one happening on Friday morning, according to police.
CPD is looking for two to 4 male suspects, wearing dark clothing and ski masks. The group is taking bags, and, in one case, even a car.
Police say be aware of your surroundings and if approached stay calm.
