CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - After a four-year hiatus, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra is ready to come back to Millennium Park.

When Millennium Park opened in July 2004, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra helped to inaugurate it – the first concert was private, but all others have been free and open to the public.

But the COVID pandemic stopped the run. So, tonight's performance at the park will be the first time since 2018.

The estimated attendance for the concerts has ranged from 10,000 to an overflowing 25,000.
