(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — The investigation continues after two women were shot at a River North hotel Saturday around 8:15 p.m. at Grand Avenue near North Orleans Street, leaving one dead and another injured.
Police say a 29-year-old woman was found in the hotel lobby with a gunshot wound to the neck and was taken to a hospital in good condition. A second victim, a 32-year-old woman, was discovered in a guest room with a gunshot wound to the shoulder and was later pronounced dead.
The shooter, an unidentified man, fled eastbound in a tan SUV.
