Several dozen protesters gathered outside the Aon Center near Millennium Park Sunday afternoon calling for corporations to pull out of Russia as the war in Ukraine continues.

Several demonstrators put garbage bags over their body and tied their hands behind their backs, as they lay on the steps of Aon Center on a windy day, mimicking the scenes of Ukrainian civilians who have been killed.

There were also baby dolls with blood on them, as well as signs that said "Stop Putin."

Kateryna Turchyna of the group "Help Ukraine Together" was among those holding signs and Ukrainian flags calling for divestment from Russia. She told WBBM "our heart is breaking, looking at all of this."

Another demonstrator, Roman Kononenko, said they were specifically targeting Kraft Heinz.

"The Russia Ukraine War does not really leave moral ambiguity here. So either you pull (out) or you don't. So there really is no middle ground," he said.

Kraft Heinz released a statement on March 8th saying, in part, that it has suspended all new investments in Russia, and donated $1 million to the Red Cross and told WBBM there would be no additional statement.

At one point, the demonstrators were told by security that they had to move and so the protest went over to the other side of Randolph Street, near Millennium Park, and marched and waived flags of Ukraine and the U.S. and shouted "Boycott Russia" and "Stop  Trade With Russia."
