Health Gauge is opening its first Illinois drive-through rapid COVID-19 testing site at Woodfield Mall on Tuesday, December 22 and is now taking appointments with same-day results.
“We are looking forward to bringing the ease and affordability of our rapid drive-thru COVID-19 testing to Illinois for the first time,” said Health Gauge President and Co-Founder, Scott McGlothlen. “Our rapid testing requires no pre-qualification, allowing anyone with or without insurance to receive affordable, same-day bookings and results to provide peace of mind to everyone as we quickly approach Christmas and New Year’s.”
Located in the G Lot, on the south side of the mall near Sears, most test results are provided in less than 60 minutes, all without leaving your car.

The rapid testing requires no pre-qualification and no symptoms are required to be tested.
According to Health Gauge, the less-invasive nasal swap rapid test has 96.7 percent accuracy.
The rapid test costs $99. People can pay cash or online, and have their results the same day, often in less than an hour.
Woodfield Mall will be the seventh Health Gauge location and will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Testing will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day.
