WHEATON (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- DuPage Medical Group has restored its network after technical problems for several days last week.

After nearly a week, DuPage Medical Group patients should be able to once again schedule appointments online.

A message on the group’s website said their network has been restored and they are bringing systems online, but warned of high call volumes and apologized for the inconvenience.

The state’s largest independent physician’s group began having problems with phone lines and its patient portal last Tuesday.

Some patients took to social media last week to complain about cancelled appointments and not being able to renew medications.

A spokeswoman said systems were available early Monday morning.

And while they are still investigating the cause, they appreciate doctors and teams who made sure care was provided during the outage.
