CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- It's a robbery pattern that continues to plague the Lincoln Park neighborhood and stump police.

Eight more women robbed in about eleven minutes in Lincoln Park.

Chicago police say as in earlier sprees, the crew started the evening by stealing a car in another part of the city to serve as their get-away vehicle.  In this case, a silver Toyota RAV-4 was carjacked in the 300 block of West Cermak.

CWB Chicago reports the Lincoln Park robberies began a short time later just after midnight. The locations -- the 2000 block of North Howe, the 800 block of West Belden, and the 2200 blocks of North Burling and Geneva Terrace.

All of the victims say the robbers were in a silver SUV.

They wore masks and hoodies and sometimes held their hands under the hoodies to imply they had guns, although the victims told police they didn't see a weapon.

Three women were robbed in the same neighborhood on Friday.
