(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Elton John's farewell concert tour has added several final dates, including a stop at Chicago's Soldier Field next summer.
The 74-year-old pop music legend will perform Aug. 5, 2022 at the lakefront stadium; pre-sale tickets began Wednesday.
John already is scheduled to perform at the United Center on Feb. 4 and 5, which are replacement dates for June 2020 shows canceled because of the pandemic.
The shows are part of "Elton John Farewell Yellow Brick Road: The Final Tour," a retrospective of John's 50-year career that includes several of his hits.
