CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Federal investigators are hoping a reward and a picture of a getaway car will help them find the man who robbed a United States Postal Service letter carrier in Chicago.

The robbery happened at about 6:40 p.m. on Sept. 30 near 77th and Laflin Streets in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood.

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the man.

The reward poster includes a picture of the white sedan the robber drove off in.

At the time of the crime, officials said the male suspect was wearing dark jeans and a white shirt.

Investigators say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
