
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Kidnapping, among other charges, have been filed against a 33-year-old Waukegan man accused of holding people against their will and robbing them in Chicago after they met online.
Antione Perteet is charged with seven felonies, on top of a half dozen previous felony charges allegedly involving men he met after connecting on a gay dating app.
He faces three counts of armed robbery with a firearm, three counts of kidnapping with a firearm and one count of aggravated vehicular hijacking with a firearm.
It's alleged there were three separate incidents that occurred in Chicago last June and July.
He was already locked up for two other incidents, one in Chicago and another in Cicero, during which he allegedly held victims against their will and robbed them.
He had previous convictions for theft and burglary.
Perteet was a gym teacher at a Christian school in Waukegan. He’s married with four children.
