Police responded to the 1100 block of North Warren Street just after 7 p.m. They found a 69-year-old man in the front yard with a gunshot wound. There was a trail of blood leading into the house.
There, they found a 73-year-old woman. She was also shot. She later died at a hospital.
The man survived. His condition is unknown.
Police say their car, a blue Nissan Extera SUV was missing. It would be easy to spot if it still has the assigned license plate. It’s a vanity plate, according to police, reading “Blue Mom.”
