(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – An 11-year-old girl was struck by a CTA bus while she was riding on an electric scooter Monday afternoon in the South Chicago community, police said.
Police say the girl was traveling southeast around 4:45 p.m. in the 8400 block of South Commercial when she was involved in a crash with a southbound CTA bus.
The girl was transported to Comer Children's Hospital in serious condition, police said.
