(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Chicago Police have put out a warning about recent bike robberies near Millennium Park.
Police say the bikes were Divvy Bikes. Riders were approached by a group of people — males and females — near Millennium Park.
At least two incidents occurred on South Michigan and one on East Randolph over the weekend, between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Police say in each incident, the people who approached the bicyclist implied they had a weapon and demanded the bike.
Approximate ages of the suspects: 15 to 25.
