Gun fired near Northwestern Memorial Hospital: CPD

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Chicago police are investigating overnight gunfire near Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Nobody was hurt after hospital staff reported hearing outside gunshots at about 12:40 a.m., police said. A witness also saw someone shooting a gun from an unknown vehicle.

Officers recovered multiple shell casings from the scene, on Huron and McClurg.

Area Three Detectives are investigating.
