
Starting October 3, Harry Potter fans will be able to interact with "hypogriffs," unicorns and other magical creatures at the "Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience."
It will make its Midwest debut on October 3 at Ingleside’s YMCA Camp Duncan, located minutes from Gurnee.
The experience is inspired by the Forbidden Forest and features creatures from both the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts series. It's described as an experience for all ages that gives fans "the opportunity to experience the magic of the Harry Potter films in a whole new way."
According to an announcement, "mesmerizing lights will transform the landscape into a magical outdoor trail."

Once visitors reach the end of the trail, they will find a themed village where they can purchase food and drink and buy Harry Potter merchandise.
"Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience" is presented by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, Fever and IMG Arts & Entertainment. More than two million fans in 11 cities across the globe have experienced it.
It joins the the Harry Potter Shop on Michigan Avenue and a previous “Harry Potter: Magic at Play” exhibit at Water Tower Place.
Tickets go on sale July 30.
