(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Early voting sites have now opened in all of Chicago’s 50 wards.

A supersite in the Loop, along with the Chicago Board of Elections office make it 52 early voting sites total, said spokesperson Max Bever.

“Any Chicago voter, no matter where they live in the city, can use any of those sites. So, if you live in the 1st Ward, and you want to go vote in the 50th Ward early voting site, you can do so,” Bever noted.

Bever shared the perks of the early voting sites, which will be open every day leading up to the Nov. 8 Election Day.

“We’re not seeing many lines at our early voting sites. Vote early, get the peace of mind to take it off of your mind, get it done and (your) civic duty done early,” Bever said.

There are three ways to vote- by mail, at any of the early voting centers, or at assigned precinct places on election day November 8.

Here’s where to find your polling place.

Chicago and the rest of Illinois' polling sites are offering same day voter registration as well.

“You’ll just need to bring two forms of ID, one with your current address on them, bring that to any early voting site or bring that with you to your precinct polling place on election day. They’ll get you same day registered and then you could vote on the spot,” Bever added.

Fifty-one of the early voting sites will also be open on Nov. 8, Election Day, for any Chicago voter. The early voting site at the Chicago Board of Elections office will be closed on Election Day.

“If you’re planning on voting at your assigned precinct place, you can only go to that location. So, that’s why early voting sites are an added convenience for voters ahead of Election Day and on Election Day within Chicago,” Bever added.
